Traffic

Here you will find all the information about travel and traffic for the individual stages.

You want to come to the course from 23 - 27 August?

We are looking forward to seeing you at Germany's only stage race of the men's elite. All information about the stages and routes can be found here.

Stages and route

When travelling to the event, please take note of the traffic information for the stage locations linked below. In case of missing information, please contact the responsible traffic authority directly.

General traffic information

For each stage, both the local traffic information and the time tables and route for the entire stage are linked. The time tables show when and where the peloton is expected to arrive.

The respective road in transit towns will be closed approx. 45 min before the arrival of the peloton. As soon as the peloton and all accompanying vehicles have passed, the police will open the road again. For operational reasons, these closures may last longer than planned after the field has passed.

Start and finish areas are subject to longer closures due to the erection of grids and superstructures. These usually start the night before the respective stage. Exact times vary depending on the stage location.

In Bremen, due to the TK Cycling Tour, which is also taking place on the same day, additional notices and sometimes larger closures apply. You can find these below.

All roads that will be closed during the race will be posted 2 weeks in advance. You can see from these posters where the closures will take place.

On the day of the race there will be an absolute ban on stopping cars along the race track! This will also be enforced!
